What does the ErgoPromise Lifetime Guarantee cover?
The ErgoPromise Lifetime Guarantee covers all Ergobaby products. It provides a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This means that if your Ergobaby product breaks due to a flaw in how it was made or the materials used, we will replace it.
What is not covered?
The ErgoPromise Lifetime Guarantee does not cover damage caused by:
- Normal wear and tear
- Accidents (including lost or stolen products)
- Improper care or cleaning
- Non-standard usage, misuse, or negligence
- The natural breakdown of colors and materials over time
Only original, unaltered and unmodified items and workmanship are covered. Applicable products eligible for this warranty are covered only as to the original owner, product must be purchased from an authorized Ergobaby seller and must be returned to Ergobaby along with proof of purchase for an evaluation.
This warranty covers all Carriers and Bouncers. All other Ergobaby products, not including Belly Bandit, sold after 01/01/2025 are covered under the ErgoPromise Lifetime Guarantee. Any products purchased prior to that date are covered by the warranty that was in effect at the time of purchase.
*Manufacturing Defects
A manufacturing defect exists if the product departs from its intended design. Whether a manufacturing defect exists will be determined by Ergobaby upon evaluation of the product. Defective materials (buckles, straps, fabrics, etc.) or workmanship (stitching, seams, construction, etc.) are covered by Ergobaby’s warranties.
*Lifetime
"Lifetime" does not mean your lifetime. Rather, “lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the product and its component materials. While we strive to use exceptional materials in our products, all materials wear out and deteriorate over time with use and exposure to natural elements, and a product’s lifetime is based on its usage in accordance with its instructions, how well it is cared for and how old the product is. Whether a product has exceeded its lifetime will be determined by Ergobaby upon evaluation of the product.
*Wear and Tear
All products are subject to normal wear and tear, which is damage that naturally occurs with normal use. All components and materials deteriorate over time, use and exposure to natural elements, and there is a natural breakdown and fading of fabrics over normal use and time.
Availability of Replacement Parts, Repair Services, and Maintenance Information
In addition to our ErgoPromise Lifetime Guarantee, Ergobaby is committed to supporting the long-term use and maintenance of your Ergobaby product(s).
- Replacement Parts: We guarantee the availability of select replacement parts for most products for a minimum of 2 years following the last date of manufacture.
- Repair Services: Due to our high standards of safety, repairs beyond replacement parts may not be possible with 100% assurance. As each case may be unique, please contact our Customer Care team to determine if authorized repair services are available or possible.
- Maintenance Information: Information necessary to maintain and repair your stroller, including guidance on commonly available tools, is accessible on our website in product instruction manuals and through our Customer Care team.
- Availability Changes: Should any part or service no longer be available, Ergobaby will update this page to clearly communicate the change.

How do I make a claim?
If you believe your product has a legitimate manufacturing defect, please contact Ergobaby Customer Care so that we can assist you in determining which warranty may be applicable. Proof of purchase from an authorized retailer and mailing of the applicable product to Ergobaby is required. Shipments of the product must be prepaid and insured. Ergobaby is not liable for lost in-bound packages. If the claim is determined to be valid, any replacement part or replacement product will be at the discretion of Ergobaby, based on the type of product returned and the availability of replacement parts, styles, models, colors and patterns.
